Paws, parks and play: Muddies’ dog walks

At Muddies, our dog walks are more than just strolls – they’re an adventure tailored to your dog’s needs and personality. As part of our commitment to enrichment and care, these walks are exclusively offered to our doggy daycare clients at no extra cost, setting us apart from other dog daycare centres that often charge extra or skip walks altogether.

Why Muddies’ dog walks stand out

At Muddies, we offer more than just a walk in the park – we provide safe, enriching adventures tailored to your dog’s needs. Led by expert carers in a cosy, family-run environment, our walks are exclusively for dog daycare clients, ensuring quality and personalised attention. Licensed by Merton Council and registered with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), we prioritise your dog’s safety, wellbeing, and happiness. Plus, our eco-friendly practices mean your pup can enjoy their walk while keeping their carbon pawprint light.

A tail-wagging experience

Our walks take place in the scenic Morden Hall Park, just a short stroll from Muddies. Here’s what makes our walks unique:

On-lead walk to and from the park: All dogs walk on-lead to and from the park, reinforcing good leash manners and ensuring their safety. We don’t use dog taxis or cars – keeping things eco-friendly and stress-free.

Off-lead adventures: In the park, dogs can explore off-lead (with your permission), depending on their recall and temperament.

Personalised play:
Whether your dog loves fetching, sniffing through woods, swimming, or splashing, we make sure every walk is fun and engaging.

Social interactions: With occasional meet-and-greets with other park visitors, your dog can socialise safely under our supervision.

Safety first, always

Your dog’s safety is our top priority:

Weather-dependent walks: We adjust walks based on weather conditions to keep your dog safe. On stormy days, we’ll stay indoors, and during heatwaves, walks are shortened or replaced with garden play. Times may also vary depending on the weather.

Small groups, big fun: Walks are led by two carers with a maximum of five dogs, ensuring plenty of attention for each dog.

Apple AirTags: Each dog is fitted with an AirTag for peace of mind, even though we’ve never had an escape!

Hydration on the go: During warmer months, we carry water to keep dogs hydrated. Plus, the park offers plenty of natural water sources like streams and puddles for a refreshing sip.

Walks tailored to every dog

We understand that every dog is different, so we customise our walks:

Optional walks: If you’d prefer your dog not to go for a walk, they’ll stay at doggy daycare with a carer and enjoy playtime in our garden instead.

Puppies welcome: Puppies join us on walks but may have shorter sessions based on their stamina and comfort.

Flexible durations: While walks are usually an hour long, we adjust them for dogs that may find the duration too intense.

The puppy’s glossy, soulful eyes gaze directly at the camera, exuding a heartwarming and curious expression. The soft, blurred background enhances the focus on the puppy, highlighting its cute and endearing features.
